Carolyn Roper Body Paints Models and Hides Them in Plain Sight


Body painting artist Carolyn Roper, in a recent stunt made by TV channel Really, painted models to blend them with the surrounding in various locations around London. Subjects were ingeniously painted to make them completely disappear in front of a taxi, inside a bus and in front of fruit and vegetable stand.
The publicity stunt was organized to mark the UK premiere of the new series of CIA drama Covert Affairs, Wednesdays at 9pm from 19th September.

Carolyn Roper, whose previous work including painted naked celebrities with neon paint to support Cancer Research UK, is a very talented make-up artist working out of London but regularly travels throughout the UK and also internationally to undertake assignments. After graduating in Specialist Hair and Makeup, Carolyn began a career as a freelance make-up and body artist, providing professional make-up and body painting services for the TV, entertainment, music and fashion industries.

Her work is regularly featured in television advertisements, music videos, magazines and newspapers as well as being used for CD and book covers. Her impressive client list includes the BBC, SKY TV, Panasonic, Vodafone, Warner Brothers, Twentieth Century Fox, The National Lottery, Unilever, Del Monte and The Rugby Football League.
