The CuteCircuit londinesa exposes the Galaxy dress - a fusion of fashion and technology to create a light show
Will we one day we wear our mobile devices and other electronic devices, instead of loading them on hand in your pants pocket or in handbags?
Fashion designers and researchers are increasingly working together to seek to integrate technology in the clothes we wear. One example of this fusion is the CuteCircuit stylish, designer specializing in wearable technology (wearable technology), which develops, designs and manufactures high-tech dresses.
The Galaxy dress by Francesca Rosella and Ryan Genz, winners of the Best Inventions of 2006 by Time magazine, is an example of the fusion of fashion and technology, presented by Cute Circuit London. It is made of silk, hand embroidered with 24,000 colored LEDs, 4,000 Swarovski crystals that work together to create a light show, spectacular. The LEDs light up, using several iPod batteries, and can last between 30 minutes and 1 hour. The dress was exhibited at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago (USA).
