Mimetic Octopus

This incredible Octopus, scientific name Mimicus mimicus has the ability to imitate about 15 marine species with ease. It was discovered in 1998 off the coast of Sulawesi in Indonesia. The Mimetic Octopus was first seen by a fisherman and is the first known species capable of taking on the characteristics of many marine animals.
