Anyone who has read a bulletin board of Tex knows what emotions you may experience such as amazing adventures was able to cook Ballard with his pen. Other than cinema, more than big screen, DVD, home theater and other modern technological newfangled liitle one title of Tex, chosen at random, to be projected into another world, traveling with the mind and thus assuming a safe and excellent tonic for fantasy (and heart). Born on December 22, 1908 in Milan, Giovanni Luigi Bonelli debuts in publishing the late ' 20 by writing short stories for the "Corriere dei piccoli", back to the "illustrated newspaper of travel" published by Sonzogno and three novels of adventures. He described himself as "a novelist lent to comics". Among its narrative patterns often quoted Jack London, Joseph Conrad, Stevenson, Verne and especially Salgari, novelist with whom Ballard has a lot in common, in particular the ability to recreate with the sheer force of imagination reality never seen in person. In the years ' 30 directs various newspapers of "Saev", publishing house of the time: "Jumbo", "Bold", "Rin-Tin-Tin", "Luke". He also wrote his first screenplay, created by artists of the calibre of Rino Albertarelli and Walter Molino. In 1939 the plunge: detects the weekly "the bold", passed in the meantime by Saev to Mondadori, and become an editor. Bonelli, a great lover of the history of the west, according to his sole knowledge "literary, in 1948 finally gives life to Tex Willer, the precursor of every self-respecting hero of the west. On his behalf, from the graphic point of view, rushes the artist Aurelio Galleppini (aka Galep), the creator of Immortals faces of the characters. However, Tex was born thinking its short duration and no one aspettva the success that has occurred. In the forecast of its author, it is due to last two or three years at most. The world's longest running comic instead became after Mickey, on newsstands today for the "Sergio Bonelli Editore", the Publishing House of the son who then guessed other big hits, from "Dylan Dog" to "Martin Mystere" a "Nathan Never." While dedicating most of his time in later Tex, Ballard has created numerous other characters, among which we must remember at least "El Kid", "Davy Crockett" and "Hondo". Gianluigi Bonelli, we repeat it, despite not having ever substantially moved from his native city, he managed to create a very realistic and believable universe of a distant world that could only imagine, especially considering that at the time film and television did not have the importance in forging the imagery that they bought. His ability to invent stories and exciting plots was colossal and impressive. Suffice it to say that Bonelli wrote all the adventures of "Eagle of the night" (Tex is called its "Indian brothers" Navajos), published until the mid 80 's, but he continued to view them even after, until his death in Alexandria on January 12, 2001, at the age of 92 years. Today, fortunately, Tex Willer, together with his companions, Kit Carson, the younger son Kit and the Indian Tiger Jack, is still alive and well and still holds the record for worldwide sales at kiosks, real hero immortal how few there are.
