His killers are mixed among students, and, after having unloaded eight gunshots, they vanish into thin air, taking advantage of the general confusion. His assassination comes within the blood trail involving the Red Brigades after the establishment of the Turin process against the APPO Curcio and Franceschini. Vittorio Bachelet was hit because of its role within the Higher Council of the judiciary. To drive the terrorists is the slogan: "the revolution will not process". After the murder, Moro, the climate of terror escalates considerably, and it is in this atmosphere that the project starts with the murder of the lawyer. One of the two bombers, Laura Braghetti, writes in 2003 a book ("the prisoner") in which reveals how you have chosen to kill Bachelet because not having the Commons was an easier target.
