Mario Draghi was born in Rome in 1947. He graduated in economics with 110 and praise at the University La Sapienza in Rome in 1970. During his career, is part of the boards of Directors of several banks and companies among which there are ENI, IRI, Banca Nazionale del Lavoro and IMI. From 2002 to 2005 Mario Draghi's Vice-President for Europe at Goldman Sachs, the world's fourth largest investment bank. On May 16, 2011, the Eurogroup has officially announced his candidacy for President of the ECB (European Central Bank).
