Born on 15 May 1985 in Bolzano, Tania Cagnotto was the first Italian female diver to win a medal at the World Championships. Daughter of art (her mother is Carmen Casteiner, the diving Italian national team in the 1970s, while his father is Giorgio Cagnotto, winner of four Olympic medals), Tania conquers the national scene already at fourteen, becoming the strongest Italian diving between the late 1990s and early 2000s.
