Charm, friendliness and determination: these are the characteristics that marked one of the most famous and appreciated comic actresses of recent years: Fran Drescher. Francine Joy Drescher, that is his real name, was born in Queens, New York neighborhood on November 30, 1957. Eager to become an actress since childhood, the beautiful and sunny young the Fran attended Hillcrest High School and studied drama at the same time. Right in the drama club meets future television producer, whom he married shortly thereafter, little more than twenty, the November 4, 1978. After attending Queens college for a year, the two enrolled at a school of cosmetics and licensed, open a small lounge where cut their hair for five bucks. But the young Fran wants at all costs to recite, and in 1977 even manages to debut in cinema, in a small part in the film "Saturday night fever" (Saturday Night Fever) by John Badham, alongside John Travolta. Meanwhile, the actress continues to delight audiences with some tasty cinematic interpretations, among which we remember those "Jack" (1996) by Francis Ford Coppola, "love is a trick" (The Beautician and the Beast, 1997) by Ken Kwapis, and "I just ripped my wife" ("Picking Up the Pieces, 2000) by Alfonso Arau, with Woody Allen. In 2005 back to big on the small screen with a new and funny sitcom, titled "Living with Fran," in which she plays a 40-year-old neodivorziata and seductive mom, who won a young boy, whose relationship with the equally young son will not be the happiest. Towards the end of the 90 's she published her first book "Enter Whining", a humorous autobiography, followed by "Cancer Schmancer" which tells the hard experience of living with cancer of the uterus, that Fran Drescher has successfully passed due to its immense fortitude. The disease left her shoulders, back on tv in 2011 with a new humorous series called "Happily divorced" (happily divorced): the story is about a woman who after eighteen years of marriage comes to see her husband's homosexuality; begin to get different dating with many comical aspects.
