Definition of Ferry
The term ferry is used to designate those boats or ships that are characterized by the transportation of passengers as well as vehicles and cargo from short to medium distances. Normally, the ferry service is from back and forth and they operate on the basis of a permanent service that can be contracted throughout the day, unlike what happens with other means of transport such as aircraft or certain rail.
