Definition of Forum
A forum is a physical or virtual place used to meet and exchange ideas and experiences on various topics. The Forum was that space is used as a setting for exchange between people who want to discuss specific issues about all sorts of topics. You can be a physical space in which individuals meet in person, or you, take place in virtual form, for example, via the Internet. Traditionally, in Roman society, a forum or forum was the place where establishing the market located in one of the four entrances of the city. I used to be a square flanked by temples and important buildings of the society. In it were discussed themes of nature political, religious, judicial, social, administrative and economic, with influence over the Senate. Today, a forum is any more or less informal space in which experts or interested parties about any topic in particular meet and hold discussions or exchanges. These forums can occur at public and international level, for example, in the Congregation's leaders and world specialists on political issues, environmental, social or any kind. Alternatively, they can take place behind closed doors and on a smaller scale, in educational environments such as a university or a research centre. They may even have relation to more informal settings, as membership of social groups wishing to conduct exchanges on one or more topics. Sometimes, radio or TV programmes have been proposed forums with panelists on topics of public interest. In any case, a forum tends to have an administrator, moderator, and commentators. Forums maintain one or more sessions of Exchange and can have or not initially with a subject of debate. In general, a forum has a set of rules to regulate its functioning, facilitating the linkage of the commentators in a harmonious environment and dialogue. Currently, the concept of Forum is closely linked to the Internet and has to do with the virtual spaces of discussion which are used for the exchange of messages and opinions in lathe applications and software, social issues, groups of fans and others.
