Definition of Social education

Social education is a form of social intervention which will take place from strategies and educational content in order to promote the social welfare and improve the quality of people in general and especially problem solving of those marginalized groups remained outside the system.
Aims that Social education with its action is on the one hand to prevent these problems of marginalization and moreover ensure to all individuals the fulfillment of their rights, in a nutshell, its objective is to optimize the processes of socialization.
The incorporation of individuals at different social networks will facilitate the development of their sociability and will allow its social movement. Meanwhile, the hand of that social and cultural promotion will remain absolutely open to acquire different cultural property, that of course will broaden the perspectives of stakeholders.
Among the functions pertaining to the social education are: the observation of contexts, behaviours and attitudes that identify individuals or groups who are in a situation of maladjustment or marginalization; contact these same subjects, to collect information about their lives, problems, relationship, to so find out which strategy is best in each case; planning of the educational strategy which will boost the participation and that will obviously lead to an improvement in the quality of life of those involved; mediate between subjects and institutions social, school or work, as appropriate, thus providing access to them.
