American actor

He was born on October 31, 1936 in Forest Hill (United States). Son of a Catholic mother and Jewish father.
In his maturity, he had to overcome a period of dependence on drugs and crises caused by the breakdown of two marriages.
She played characters friendly and kind of boyish. Landon was devoted almost in exclusive to television, although it has some forays into the film. It was Joe, the younger brother of the Cartwright, in the famous Bonanza, first western shot in color for television series. Even Landon wrote some scripts in the last stage of this program.
She then played Charles Ingall at the House on the Prairie, a production which Landon controlled in its entirety and also directed and wrote some episodes. He later plays Johnatan, the angel who was returning to Earth in the series Highway to heaven.
Michael Landon died in Los Ángeles on July 1, 1991 from cancer of the liver and pancreas just three months after the disease made its appearance with severe headaches.
