What is the Meaning & Definition of emotional management

There are different types of intelligence. Emotional intelligence shows a person's ability to know herself, controlling moods, have effective management of their emotions to live more calmly. This self-knowledge is also the basis for enhancing positive personal relationships. The emotional management concept shows the ability of those who are masters of their emotions and not slaves, i.e. not live conditioned by their impulses of the moment but which, through the own knowledge better understand themselves.

Control of emotions

Emotional management is not innate, but it can be learned throughout life. It's learning that includes such important skills as understand, control and modify own emotions and feelings, but also allows us to better understand how another person feels.
This emotional management is required for diving in an emotional universe which is full of feelings and emotions very varied as envy, anger, resentment, suffering, hope, anger, peace of mind, serenity, joy...
Proper management of emotions provides quality of life because it implies that a person is capable of regulating the anger felt at an anger. Another possible situation is the not to recreate in their own pain.

Find the balance between thoughts and feelings

Emotional management helps us to understand that we are not passive agents in our own emotional States, but we always have the attitude of doing something about it when we feel a certain way.
Emotions have a central role in personal life. Emotional management that is necessary in very different areas of life: personal life, business context, personal relationships (couples, friends, family), dating and relationship with yourself.
It is not considered rational thinking as a secondary factor, but to balance the necessary balance because for much of the historical period are extolled the value of reason to the detriment of the affective knowledge.
