What is the Meaning & Definition of Obituary

The term obituary boasts two rather extended uses.
On the one hand, is called obituary to the parish book in which are recorded the deaths and funerals.
Another use of the Word can refer to the section of a newspaper which is reported only deaths, or failing, it was one person featured and famous, is usually done a brief biographical summary.
Turns out to be a common practice of many media have already prepared some obituaries of notable personalities that still are alive. The goal of this is that once the sad outcome happens, the medium in question, to publish immediately after informed the news, obituary of the character in question.
Of course that, by definition, the obituary should be posthumous, that is the ideal, but occasionally happens that some obituaries are published either accidentally or intentionally when even the protagonist of the same is alive. Some are the result of very bad jokes, i.e. are so deliberate and others come to light as result of some confusion that arises in some people, the most common tend to be by similar names or when the person was near death and then get fired without being previously re checked the information of his death.
It should be noted, that in the latter sense, differs from the classic death notice, popularly known as funeral notice and that is a message which is responsible for writing and pay the same family.
