A national park is a category of protected area that enjoys a certain legal status that allows you to protect and preserve the richness of its flora and fauna, is characterized by being representative of a region fitozoogeografica and having scientific interest.

Taking example of Yellowstone, in 1890, Yosemite went to federal control and becoming the second national park in the United States.
National parks are usually located in places with low development. Frequently presented with a wealth of outstanding and unspoilt areas in its flora and fauna with an ecosystem that is often the last stronghold of endangered species. Also develop national parks in areas of significant geological features by their origin, training or natural beauty. Very often both objectives are met in most of the national parks, in a unique natural balance which allows you to enjoy the Wildlife at its peak as it was abundant on our planet before the excessive human development.
In some countries the national parks are meant to return to certain areas that have experienced such human development to its natural state. This was the case with the Great Smokey National Park located between the States of North Carolina and Kentucky. In some cases, as in Great Britain national parks may include private properties that can continue farming and small villages and roads exist.
Most of the national parks have a dual purpose to offer refuge to wildlife as well as tourist attraction emerging so what is known as eco-tourism. Tourism in a controlled way is a source of income for the maintenance of the parks.

Park is a term with multiple uses. The most frequent concerns the area presenting trees, plants, flowers and spaces for rest and leisure. It is a public greenspace.
National, on the other hand, is an adjective that designates what is linked to a nation (concept, usually associated with the idea of country).
The notion of National Park, therefore mentions the ground a country devoted to the preservation of flora and local fauna. The purpose is to avoid that nature will break down from the overexploitation of resources, structures and other human activities.
For example: "last summer toured Patagonia National Park", "the environmental group reported that the Government does not protect the National Park accordingly", "this National Park has one greater surface in several European countries".
The area protected by a National Park typically has scientific interest (by the presence of native species) and landscape (for the beauty of its landscapes). Apart from its importance for the protection of ecosystems, national parks have become important tourist destinations.
In this sense, the national parks tend to be open to the public, which can traverse it and develop various activities on its surface (camping, swimming in a Lake, mountain climbing, etc.). State authorities are responsible for taking care of the facilities and the region through the Park Rangers or other officials who are trained to safeguard natural resources.

The concept of National Park is a relatively recent concept that is used to refer to those natural areas especially protected by national Governments in order to conserve the flora and fauna that exists in them and thus prevent its disappearance, termination or alteration. Protection that is offered to the natural area known as n.p. is legal and this is thus to prevent any breach or misuse by part of individuals or corporations. National parks to prevent damaging considered activities such as hunting wild animals, tree felling, fishing or the realization of bonfires, etc.
