1 Meaning of current

Current is flowing. The concept derived from the circular verb, referring to walk or move round about, run or pass some people to others or go and come.
In the economy and trade, circulating is a value that passes from one to another person through the change, barter and trade operations. The cash is considered as circulating money, since used on an ongoing basis to buy goods or pay for services. Therefore, the notes and coins circulate among people over the economic cycle. For example: "the Government is concerned about the lack of circulating money and wants to boost consumption", "excess circulating money reflects the lack of confidence in the banking system".
Current assets, on the other hand, is (available) liquid assets at the date of close of a financial year, or which is convertible into cash within twelve months. Box, cash, accounts receivable, exchange goods and raw materials can be considered part of the assets of a company.
At certain moments in history, in the absence of cash, some countries issued stamps circulating serving as replacement of banknotes and coins. United States (between 1861 and 1865) and Russia (1915) are some of the Nations that opted for circulating stamps.
A circulating library, finally, is the one whose books are loaned to readers under certain conditions.

2. Definition of current

It is considered current money in cash and by electronic transfers, checks and any means possible payment that is used in everyday life to make purchases, sales, exchanges, and any exchange of money. The State through the corresponding institutions, for example the Central Bank, currency and more administration commissions is responsible for distributing in the public in general a number of manifestos on paper money as a representation of the net value of the country, these notes and metal coins are exchanged constantly in society, going hand in hand for all citiesshops and facilities of purchase and sale in the country, is in a nutshell, the direct assets of people, which are available to the usual process of exchange of goods and services by monetary value.
