European parks that are worth visiting

Europe has a territory with many parks and natural monuments, many of them known by all, which annually attract thousands of tourists and travellers. As well there are also that despite not being as well known they are worth visiting. And some of them, more precisely four of them, located in Italy, Poland, Norway and Greece, I'm going to talk about today:

Parco della Maremma
Located on the coast of Tuscany and only accessible from the village of Alberese, is one of the areas less densely populated in all of Italy. It also has a unique agricultural wealth, and contains abundant examples of Mediterranean flora and fauna. Inside the Park is also fraught with monuments of Etruscan, Roman and medieval, forming one of the few places in Europe where we can find them.
La Maremma offers much to its guests and insurance that will please the lovers of art and history as well as nature and sport. In its interior there are no shelters, bars or restaurants, so visitors must be prepared for a day in the pure nature.
In the Park you will find a beautiful beach and enjoys a fantastic coastline with one of the cleanest in the country's waters. And is located just 15 minutes from the Thermal baths of Petriolo, and in less than an hour can reach the largest and most famous hot springs of Saturnia.

Bialowieski National Park
Situated between Poland and Belarus. Today is the last resort of ancestral and natural forests in Europe. It is one of the most important natural treasures not only Poland, but also in Europe and the only place in Europe where you can see bison in freedom.
The forest is located about 260 km east of Warsaw and about 70 km southwest of Białystok. It must travel it in Group and guide, not to be missed by more than 20 km of tourist routes, 3 of them for walkers and 2 for bicycles. By the Polish side can be wound by train from Warsaw and Siedlce to Hajnówka. And there is a bus line from Hajnówka to Białowieża. You can also take a bus from Białystok to Białowieża.
Inside the park there is also a Museum and the former residence of the Tsars of Russia, with a magnificent English garden, with a huge variety of species, some of which manage to reach sizes not found anywhere else. It is an excellent live example of as they were the forests of Central Europe for more than a thousand years. It is declared Biosphere reserve and World Heritage.
Any season of the year is good to visit, but the ideal is the spring where you can see hundreds of flowers, the fresh greenery of trees and a temperate climate encourages walking tours & long trips by bicycle through the jungle.

This route is one of the busiest for the Norwegians, although in winter it tends to be quite lonely. It is a Valley Glacier about 40 km in length, between Geiterrygen and Aurlandsvangen. In the combines magic and showmanship of the valleys glaciers with the presence of an abundant and rich flora and numerous monumental elements such as the typical saeter, the Nordic equivalent of the Asturian brañas, for example.
Aurland region contains some of the beauties of the fjord, as Kjell waterfall, one of the highest in Norway with a drop of 840 m in height. The peoples of the region, have particular Norwegian charming style. Tourism, in the hand of the fishing and hunting, was born in the mid-19th century, to not retire ever. Currently, the main reason for travel to Aurland and fjord Nærøyfjord is none other than his natural attraction, with fjords and majestic mountains who bully the small villages at the foot of cliffs.
The region of Aurland allows excursions not to be missed to explore embarked part of the fjords, in addition to the AurlandsdalenValley, famous for its scenery trail. The Flåm railway, is a magnificent piece of engineering that allows one of the most stunning train journeys of the world.Aurland fjord Nærøyfjord is a magical and representative destiny of Norway.Story remember that here was shot the Empire strikes back.

Samaria Gorge
It is one of the largest in Europe and all major attractions of the Greek island of Crete. It is a park of vertical walls and gaps of stone that surprise us to the shore of the sea.
In the vicinity of Chania, main throat is about 16 kilometers long and begins to approximately 1,250 meters of altitude. The most famous is the so-called Iron gate, where the Gorge narrows to having only 3 metres wide and 500 metres above sea level.
In the middle of the throat is the city that bears his name, Samaria, abandoned in 1962. It is protected by a national park. The most typical tour consists of early in Chania, take a bus to arrive two hours later to the village of Xyloskalo, where begins the National Park.
