Punta Cana and fabulous beaches

The beaches of Punta Cana are of fine white sand, and the sea in a soft blue-green color, without reaching the turquoise of the Caribbean beaches located more to the South. The sea usually presents waves and beach very quickly sinks into the sea. The water is always clear and abundant algae in some areas. clip_image027
The Punta Cana area begins to the North with the beach of Arena Gorda, then following the famous Bavaro Beach, Playa Ubero Alto, Macao Beach and the beach of El Cortecito. When you start the return of the Tip are the beaches of Cabeza de Toro, Cabo Engaño, Punta Cana and Juanillo. The coastline of the Punta Cana area extends 50 km of coast. As Punta Cana, Bavaro is lined with numerous resorts all inclusive, many with refreshments served on the beach, each of which has its own garden with sun chairs and cabanas. However, despite the number of people who rest here during the day, the beach size assures visitors that it will never be over populated.
The singer Julio Iglesias and Oscar de la Renta Designer have invested heavily in this area, and are co-owners of much of the city of Punta Cana and its airport. Oscar de la Renta despite travel frequently to Europe and the United States spend most of their time in this area in the well-known Grand mansion built in Los Corales.
Rincon Beach: it is considered one of the 10 best beaches in the Caribbean, is made up of several elongated and slightly curved coves that extend about 3 km, with almost white sand, dense palm groves and waters of different shades.

El Cortecito Beach: located on the "Coconut coast", this beach is used by many travelers who use it to reach the beaches still best thing against the surrounding resorts .
Playa Boca Chica: it is the closest beach to the capital Santo Domingo, is a stretch of coastline that is elongated with a succession of coconut trees, food stands, restaurants and markets. Its depth reaches just 1.25 m. in the deepest part, is protected by a large coral reef, which makes it look like a large natural pool.
Catalina Island: Catalina Island is a very small Beach and is on the shore of Bayahibe, Catalina Island has the best coral reef in the area. It is a beach for diving and peace of mind.

Isla Saona: white beaches, towering palms, blue water and the occasional Bank sand at low tide, make this one of the most romantic destinations.
Playa Dominicus: the first beach in the Caribbean to have blue flag status, is suitable for divers and other diving due to the presence of a large reef. Located near Bayahibe, it is surrounded by several resorts all inclusive
Minitas Beach: is the impressive and luxurious private beach resort Casa de Campo in La Romana.A variety of water sports available in this stretch of sand, as well as the famous Piña Colada, served in a big pineapple.
