Today I am going to tell you about other more hotels with the charm of the story that accompanies them, since actually some who have had visits very illustrious, which are:
Reid´s Palace. Funchal, Portugal
In Madeira, on the South coast of the Island of Funchal, perched on a cliff, overlooking the Bay of Funchal and the Atlantic, is this landmark hotel which was opened by a poor Scottish grumete in 1891. It had landed on the island with only fourteen years and managed to amass a large fortune in the wine business.
The Reid's Palace soon became the center of European high society that came to the island in search of good climate, peace and nature. He already quoted Winston Churchill spent long periods here. Because of a renovation project the hotel closed in 1976 and in 1996 reopened already in the hands of a rich European Aristocrat. The reform has care and kept its original atmosphere. Its Presidential Suite 340 m2, is decorated with marble of Verona.
The oldest champagne company that exists recreates his universe imagining a suite for the Hotel Le Plaza in Brussels, a single room, work of the renowned Dutch Designer Maarten Baas.
