Definition: retouching and its importance

Photo editing is a technique that allows to obtain another modified image, either to achieve a better quality or more realism, or to obtain a completely different composition that distort the reality. To carry out the process, computer programs are mostly used.
Using different techniques of retouching photo is quite simply to improve the quality of the original images processed, thus achieving a result of significantly higher in quality with respect to the original image. In addition they can also achieve impressive effects or simply to correct several errors in the original images. Before the existence of the photograph in color, it was very common liquid watercolors or other pigments used to offer the colored image. Also the photographic negative is retouching to eliminate imperfections.
Digital photo retouching techniques are now widely used as a method of post production, especially in areas where the image is what sells. Its use gives much in modeling productions, since the perfection of the models is to be achieved at all costs.
It is also used for advertising serving a very important part of the final work. Many times we have photographs which are concerned in reality only by using a camera. For this it uses the "photomontage" or digital retouching where you can manipulate multiple pictures to create a final composition. Today technology allows a myriad of proposals due to the different software used and the different techniques (illustration, CGI, 3D and more). The most used program today is Adobe Photoshop.

Concept: photo retouching and what is

Since the beginning of mankind that human beings formed distinct communities in order to obtain best goods and resources working as a team, and it was there where settled the bases of what were the first villages or tribes with a labour organization where different records were.
This record initially was using what was known as cave art, consisting of reproduction through drawings that reflected on the walls of shelters (generally the caverns) where not only displaying different animals that hunted, but the quantities or proportions which they kept, perhaps by way of considering them as a "trophy" for the expeditions that were carried out.
This need to be able to portray in temporarily or permanently the torques evolved into art and portraits, and later came with the technological advancement of photography, where through a role or support previously conditioned with a photosensitive Emulsion could be copies how reliable any moment wished to immortalize.
The evolution of the different techniques and technologies that were used to take photographs was an upwards with the passing of the years, and was so different optical filters that allowed applied either emphasize different objects or points in particular in portraiture, as also different techniques that resulted in what today is the retouching.
Initially this technique was carried out by true photography specialists, already if not applied through the use of any special lens, could be made at the time of the process of developing, with a wide variety of techniques depending on what effect seeks to achieve.
Today, with the rise of Digital photography that increasingly more increases its quality, this is possible through the use of a known as Image Editor application, where we can perform basic modifications as controls for brightness, contrast and Color, while on the other hand we have packages known as Suite of applications that allow us to delve even more this year.
In this way, correct defects can be in the picture, in particular enhance the beauty of an object, as also applying image filters that allow us to provide a different same portrait approach, until the possibility of a photomontage, consisting in the creation of a new picture with elements alien to the original capture.
