Who is Alizée?

It's been called the French response to the phenomenon of pop lolitas, i.e. all that genia of teenagers that part tarantolate, between a mossetta and a pout, between a blink more often ridiculous and a makeover, take home fine billion. Alizée selection (or who runs it: in this case the cunning manager), instead, goes in the other direction. The girl of pop in French dressing has focused on simplicity and on that SOAP and water that has been able to counter the various sale Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Shakira and via bailando. Rinverdendo besides the splendour of other more or less callow singers of his country as the unforgettable Lio, Vanessa Paradis or Guesch Patti.

Born August 21, 1984 in Ajaccio, Corsica, has been shown to have considerable artistic talent since he was four years old taking dance lessons and recitation. Already at the age of eleven is therefore under the spotlight, but her big break comes through the encounter with Mylène Farmer and Laurent Boutonnat, the Chronicles describe us as famous French musical duo. The two musicians had in fact composed a song, "Moi ... Lolita "and, as the piece cut, had intestarditi that to interpret it must be a girl. And who better than the fresh, but not just nasty, Alizée?

Needless to say, mindful of his sugary little voice that we chased summer 2002 for every where, that the single was a huge success, making Alizée a real phenomenon.

To catch the ball, from the single pass complete album, and this is hot off the press out in stores on his first work titled "Gourmandises" (the music is always the duo Laurent Boutonnat and Mylène Farmer), with songs tailored to adolescents as a prey to agonies ever.

Even the album breaks through: in no time at all went platinum (300,000 copies in just three months), then travel to the 800,000 copies in France.

The right move to do at this point was to put out another single and, that done, exit "Alizé" which becomes another hit, reaching number 1 in the French charts with over 700,000 copies sold.

In 2001 Alizée has encountered growing success at the international audience, in fact, that his album has seen the light not only on European markets or in Canada, but also in markets traditionally alien to French music such as Russian and Japanese (Alizée won a Hit FM Award in Russia).

In 2002 the sgambettante kid has won the prestigious World Music Award (the award that is awarded annually in the Principality of Monaco to the artists of every nation who sold more in one's own country), and received a gold disc in the Netherlands after many weeks in the top three positions in the ranking. The same success has touched in Germany, where "Moi ... Lolita "won a gold record and Alizée was in the Top 10 for several weeks reaching fifth place.

In 2003, Alizée remained another year for six consecutive weeks at the top of the Italian sales charts, is back with a new single, "I'm Fed Up/j'en ai marre" (which anticipates the release of her second album Mes Courants Electriques ") a harbinger of a new wave of" heavy rotation "on radio stations across the world.

Alizée married French singer Jérémy Châtelain in 2004. The couple had their first child, Anny-Lee, born on April 29, 2005.

The December 3, 2007, after a live album ("Alizée En Concert", 2004) and a long period of absence of the scenes, released his third album titled "Psychédélices", preceded by the single "Mademoiselle Juliette".

Between 2009 and 2010 record the fourth album, which was released on March 29, 2010 with the title "Une enfant du siècle".
