Nowadays, the concept of programming is often associated with computer programming. It is a process by which a programmer writes, in a programming language, the source code of software. This code tells the computer program what it should do and how.
The programmer is required to write, confirm, check and maintain the source code. In this sense, development of software models fit in a discipline of computer science known as the software engineering.
The programming is performed through the use of algorithms, which are finite, ordered sequences and non-ambiguous instructions must be respected to solve a problem.
Once the computer program is written, to compile the code so that it can be executed by the computer.
Finally, there is mention that the programming is also all of television or radio programmes. For example: "I want to see a movie. See programming about giving the TV tonight.
