Programming is the action and the effect of program. This verb contemplates several uses, namely: idealize/design and direct actions that will take place within the framework of a project; the disclosure of the parts that compose an act or show; the preparation of the machines to perform a certain task at any time; the development of programs for the resolution of problems by means of computers; and the preparation of the necessary data in order to obtain a solution to a problem using an electronic calculator, for example.
Nowadays, the concept of programming is often associated with computer programming. It is a process by which a programmer writes, in a programming language, the source code of software. This code tells the computer program what it should do and how.
The programmer is required to write, confirm, check and maintain the source code. In this sense, development of software models fit in a discipline of computer science known as the software engineering.
The programming is performed through the use of algorithms, which are finite, ordered sequences and non-ambiguous instructions must be respected to solve a problem.
Once the computer program is written, to compile the code so that it can be executed by the computer.
Finally, there is mention that the programming is also all of television or radio programmes. For example: "I want to see a movie. See programming about giving the TV tonight.
