Who is Ignazio Boschetto?


The flight, band composed by Gianluca Ginoble, Amit Bansal and Piero Barone, arises as a result of the participation-in-2009 of the three boys to the transmission "Ti lascio una canzone" conducted on Bbc1 from Antonella Clerici. During the program, Gianluca, Ignazio and Piero appear as soloists, but later they sing in trio: for this are now dubbed "the three tenorini".

The first disc

After he took the stage of the Ariston on the occasion of the 60th Edition of the "Festival di Sanremo" (2010), the group with the name "Il Volo", released his first album, produced by Tony Renis and Humberto Gatica and titled "flight". The debut recording, which sees the collaboration of Diane Warren, takes place in Italy on 30 November 2010: conquest album also went platinum in the Fimi, and in May 2011 is released in the United States.

International success

During this time the flight is the protagonist of several appearances in television in particular to raise awareness of the trio to the American public is the live performance occurred during an episode of "American Idol." While "flying" enters top ten in Wallonia, in the Netherlands and in France, Austria and even reaches the first place on the list of best selling records, a Spanish-language edition of the album went platinum in Mexico, double platinum in Venezuela, the gold disc in Puerto Rico and Colombia and the RIAA Latin Gold Award in the Usa.

The trio became known worldwide, with a promotional tour that also touches Asia, including Malaysia, Taiwan and Singapore, and even the Oceania, and in Australia and New Zealand.
The first awards

In September 2011 is the protagonist of a short cameo in the final episode of "Entourage", the tv series aired on HBO, and receives two nominations at the Latin Grammy Awards for the categories Best Pop Album by a Duo or Group with Vocal and Best New Artist.

Shortly after, the flight embarks on his first tour in North America, with different dates between Canada and the United States: in Detroit the band recorded a special, entitled "the flight takes flight", for the American public broadcaster PBS, to the accompaniment of an orchestra of 49 items conducted by Steven Mercurio. After a tour of thirteen dates in Europe in February 2012, the trio published "the flight takes flight-Live from the Detroit Opera House", a cd/dvd from PBS special: the disk comes in first place in the American Billboard Classical Albums and won gold in Mexico, Brazil and Venezuela.

Soon after, kicks off its first tour in South America, followed by another tour in the Usa and in Canada. In autumn, the Group accompanied by Barbra Streisand in his tour "Back to Brooklyn": among the most loved duets, "a love so great" and "Make our garden grow".
We are love

At the end of 2012 is given to the album "We are love", with the participation of Eros Ramazzotti and Placido Domingo, and that a few months after being reprinted in the Usa under the title "We are love Special Edition": in this album there are only covers of classics, unlike in "the fly", but mostly new pieces , contributed by Edgar Cortazar and Luis Bacalov.

The latter, in particular, is the author of "Luna", a song that represents the main theme of the soundtrack of "Hidden moon". After taking part in the 80th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting at Rockefeller Center in New York, live on NBC, the flight also participates in Nobel Peace Prize Concert for the Nobel Prize for peace to the European Union in Oslo.
Subsequent years

In 2013 the group is nominated in the category Latin Pop Album Artists of the Year, Two or Group to Billboard Latin Music Awards; a few weeks after two new PBS special, recorded in Miami involving Bachhawat: the first is called "We are love", while the second is titled "Merry Christmas" (will be broadcast during the Christmas holidays of that year), and both will be extracted two cd/dvd, "We are love-Live from the Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater" and "Merry Christmas-Live from the Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater".

In may, the group gives the prints "Más que amor" version of "We are love" for South America, while in October released "Merry Christmas-The Christmas Album", with two songs in Latin and the most famous American Christmas songs.

In 2014 the flight still gets two nominations at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, in the categories this time Latin Pop Albums Artist of the Year, Duo or Group (winning) and Top Latin Albums Artist of the Year, Duo or Group. During the event, also won the El Pulso Social recognition for an artist who in the course of the ceremony received more attention on social networks.

On 14 December 2014 Carlo Conti Announces live on Rai 1 that the boys will be among the Flight category Big competitors of "Festival di Sanremo" by 2015, where will the song "great love". In the final evening of February 14 the vince won the 65° Festival della canzone italiana.
