What is the Meaning & Definition of coup

The definition of the word 'strike' may be varied depending on each situation, although in general terms is that a coup is a movement or relatively sudden action that may involve different levels of violence or attack on another person, item or institution. In its most basic and common use, a coup is a typically physical assault which inflicts a person or animal on another subject with certain objectives. Understood as a physical assault of a someone else hit can take place in different ways. Sometimes it can be carried out on a voluntary basis, but in other situations the coup may be involuntary and product of an accident. On the other hand, a person may suffer a blow in situations not involving other people, for example when hitting a car against a tree or fall to the floor. Physical hits always involve some sequel to greater or lesser degree, ranging from a scratch or bruise to severe fractures and fatal injuries.
The term coup can also be used in different expressions in which does not appear necessarily violence. On the other hand, these expressions imply an abrupt modification of existing conditions. In this sense we find expressions such as 'heatstroke' or 'a stroke of luck'.
Finally, the word blow is used in the scope of the policy to refer to events of seizure of power by undemocratic means. These hits are usually known as 'coups' and mean a change (temporary or lasting) but always violent and deep in the mode of handling the different branches of Government. Coups are usually carried out by military or authoritarian type thinking individuals since they do not respect democratic freedoms or the popular will by which rulers have come to your place.
