What is the Meaning & Definition of rural tourism

When we talk about tourism is becoming reference to those activities that we people during our travels or stays in places different from our environment. Most of the time this activities tend to have intended the rest and leisure and are developed in a period of consecutive and relatively short time: less than one year.
And on the other hand, when referring to the farm we are referring to what is linked or is typical of the field, including the crops, crops, land, among other issues, and is opposed to the concept of urban.

Then, rural tourism is called that tourist activity that develops within a space of rural properties, being able to treat a local small with very few inhabitants or an area close to the city but away from what is considered its urban area and is aimed at the realization of activities of the field or failing that be near them to appreciate them.
Old ranches and haciendas recycled, arranged with services that would offer any hotel in the city are the establishments that offer this type of tourism tourists eager to deploy the typical agricultural activities that take place in rural life.
The development of Rural tourism has not only allowed the approach to the country life of the people who was born and raised in the city, but it has also become an important income for people living in the countryside.
Ecotourism, tourism stay, wine (the wine richness of an area management) and agro-tourism (accommodation in cottages with agricultural activities) are, due to their characteristics, some of the ways that we can find within Rural tourism.
