Social work is a trans-disciplinarity that deals to promote social change in a given community, solve problems arising from human relationships and strengthen the people in order to increase the welfare of communities.
I.e., basically, this area aims to improve material conditions, health, culture and education concerning the population in which it acts with its action. As a result the work that makes this sector doesn't generate any economic benefit is that it tends to be developed by the State or by non-profit organizations, such is the case of popular NGOs, as we will see later in the review, which are which agglutinate practically all this task on their hands.
