Social work is a trans-disciplinarity that deals to promote social change in a given community, solve problems arising from human relationships and strengthen the people in order to increase the welfare of communities.
I.e., basically, this area aims to improve material conditions, health, culture and education concerning the population in which it acts with its action. As a result the work that makes this sector doesn't generate any economic benefit is that it tends to be developed by the State or by non-profit organizations, such is the case of popular NGOs, as we will see later in the review, which are which agglutinate practically all this task on their hands. Now, this does not imply that other stakeholders may not intervene in this respect, of course Yes you can do it but it is usual to be managed in the above-mentioned hands.

The objective: the sectors marginalized and unmet needs

The unmet needs at almost all levels and most marginalized social sectors tend to be the recipients of the work of social work. The mission is to assist in the satisfaction of demands but also strive for these sectors provide them a better future.

The importance of the third sector: associations, foundations and NGOs

Currently the Social work is very active in what is known as the third sector, associations, foundations, NGOs and also in private business and in educational contexts. In the latter case, social workers assumed the role of mediators in disputes arising between members of the educational community, promoting the realization of therapies with the objective of finding the solution to the problem which is the cause of suffering.
As you can be seen from the above, it is very important to develop and promote this discipline in all parts of the world. Where there is a humble needed or a minority there is no answers to their situation of discrimination, there should be using social work.
