What is the Meaning & Definition of tenure

The concept of tenure has extended into our language use and is used in different contexts to mean the possession of something.

Property that is about something

Then its more general and broad use allows to give account of the property that is about something, that is, the ownership of an object or of a good x allowing is handling pleasure and of course its control.

In family law: legal custody who is assigned to the parents or one of them

On the other hand, in the field of law, more specifically in the family concept is used with recurrence. When a marriage with children divorces or failing when a minor is orphaned, the Justice of this area should be granted through a court ruling legal tenure to any of the parents, or both, such is the case of shared ownership; and in the case of orphans, the Court should award that orphan holding a relative directly or to an institution that will take over until the minor reaches the age of majority.
This legal tenure will mean the adult who takes it to observe a series of duties and responsibilities towards the child, i.e., it is responsible for the same in every sense and if something happens to that lower it will be fairly responsible.
After divorce, the judge understanding in the cause, will decide according to a series of assessments on parents if the tenure of the minor will be shared or give it to one of the parents.
In the case that is shared, both parents will have the same rights and obligations on the minor.

Possession of weapons and drugs

On the other hand, we have to say that the concept of tenure applies recursively in relation to possession that someone has weapons and also drugs.
The possession of firearms implies the possession of a weapon or specific weapons. The legislation provides for certain persons who meet certain requirements to possess weapons and this then extends them a certificate that guarantees that tenure. Now, there are many people who have guns in effect and do not have such approval. In such cases, they may be detained and a sentence attributed to them by that breach the law.
While, possession of drugs is in the possession of any prohibited substance, such is the case of marijuana, cocaine, LSD, heroin, among others. The tenure of this type is often punishable by the law of the majority of the laws of the world and when passing certain degree of tenure can be considered that tenure is not for personal use but for marketing, whereupon the punishment of the law will be more serious.
