What is the Meaning & Definition of Tundra

He is designated with the term of Tundra to open and flat land, subglacial climate and subsurface ice cream, lacking of arboreal vegetation, mostly with the covered ground lichens and mosses and in many places swampy.
The tundra is extended primarily by the northern hemisphere, more precisely in Siberia, Alaska, Northern Canada, South of Greenland and the Arctic coast of Europe. Meanwhile, in the southern hemisphere tundra is presented with much more even temperatures throughout the year and in areas such as the southern tip of Chile and Argentina, the sub-Antarctic islands like South Georgia and Kerguelen and in some small areas of the North of Antarctica that are close to the sea level.
With respect to its expansion in all the land, tundra specifically occupies one-fifth of emerged Earth surface and climbing latitudes (between 45 ° and 60 °) to both antipodales poles begin the mentioned areas of tundra and because lowering the above-mentioned latitudes are coniferous forests with some dwarf Birch in the northern hemisphere and in the South with forests and Rainforest cold followed by conifers southern boreal anti.
