What is the Meaning & Definition of zero tolerance


Zero tolerance is a relatively new concept and which has spread in our language associated with actions or behaviors that are not acceptable for the peace and harmony of a community. I.e., issues like crime, arms trafficking, and the exercise of violence are issues that directly affect the coexistence in any part of the world, meanwhile, those laws or policies which are concerned to prevent them and then condemn them radically have been classified with this concept... Tolerance zero crime, drug trafficking, including zero tolerance.
Basically, then, we could say that zero tolerance is a kind of policy in matters of public security proposed strict and severe punishment against those who commit some sort of criminal act. Or punish them is harshly beyond if the offence committed is minor or major, and even more so, will try to do so soon as possible with a mission not to delay the punishment of those guilty of having offence.
The fundamental mission, the essential concern of this type of policy is the give quick and forceful responses to citizenship which is severely stalked by crime. If it is that it is a policy that applies mainly in those contexts in which the practice of crime has become recurrent and violent.
It is worth mentioning that this policy, since its imposition, has generated both approval and railway opposition, especially in the latter case as a result of the severe punishments that impose on those who commit crimes.
Those who fail it also considered that it is not effective in reducing crime and violence in the streets much less, but its sole aim is the Suppression of offenders, without dealing with short-term issues that are those who triggered the wave of crimes.
In the city of New York is where has been imposed this political trend, being its former mayor Rudolph Giuliani, who promoted it, achieving excellent results in the reduction of crime.
