We define traditional types of customs and beliefs that characterize specific to each community and that serve to differentiate it from the others. In this sense, they charge particularly important elements such as customary practices, systems of laws, cuisine, clothing, cultural expressions, religion, history, language or the structures of thought of a town or community. These representations of the tradition varies in each case, resulting in a colourful range of ways to understand and represent the world that surrounds us.
All these elements are which should appropriately address the possible advance of other values and customs that can make them disappear. Here is when everything that is traditional may become conservative and rigid since it does not allow that other elements permeen the culture and ways of life in general from that community.
It is also important to point out that the traditional adjective can, following ideas so far, refer to those structures that are opposed to any change or feature of modernity by seeing it as a threat to the existing cultural and social integrity. In this regard, both the religion and the rules of social hierarchy, modes of thinking and political structures are those forms which can be more clearly presented traditional values since they do not accept the advance of other different elements and seek always to maintain the order of the moment. In the case that the advance of modernity is unstoppable, traditional institutions seek to then recover that lost and ever better past.
