What is the Meaning & Definition of aircraft

We understand by aircraft to all that element that can be transported in the air, holding him without maintaining any contact with the Earth's surface and can also move from one place to another, i.e., not stay static in the air. Normally, when we talk about aircraft immediately think of planes, helicopters or planes, but other elements such as balloons can also be considered as such. The main and most important of all aircraft feature is, as its name implies the possibility that has sustained in the air, i.e., require air to be moved from one place to another. Thus, aircraft can become vehicles of transport of passengers or transport of load according to its physical abilities elements. Another important element to characterize an aircraft is the use of aerodynamics (i.e., air movement) to propel themselves and sustain themselves in the air. Thus, elements such as the rockets can not be understood as such because they are mainly powered by engines.
There are several ways for a heavy or light element can fly. Some of them must become lighter than air to be able to be held in: can make it from the formation of a hollow cavity where there is air, as happens with ships that hold floating on the water. This is visible in the case of balloons, hot air balloons, aircraft or airships. There are other heavier they need different elements such as wings or propellers to complement the movement.
Most of the aircraft are used in shopping mode, whether to carry passengers (one of the main goals of aviation) as well as for transporting materials for freight of all kinds: weapons, food, materials, etc.
