Biography of Barbie

March 9, 1959 the first Barbie, the first doll with curves of a young woman, whose full name is Barbara Stefania Roberts, is officially presented at the fair American Toy Fair in New York in 1959. The doll was created by the inspiration of the founding couple of Mattel, Americans Ruth and Elliot Handler.

The ancestor of Barbie and the version with the ponytail

It all begins when Ruth decides to launch a toy that opens the doors to the children of adult life.
