Jon Bon Jovi biography

Ballard of America

March 2, 1962 John Bongiovanni, naturalized American by the name of Jhon Frances Bongiovi was born in 1962 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. First of three sons (the other two are Anthony and Matt) by Carol, former Playboy Playmate, and John Bongiovanni, Barber (he also became in fact Ballard), revealed from an early age to be a rebel and a great desire to show off. Despite Barber's father, then, nobody could dissuade him from wear their hair long hair constantly that combined with a look vaguely Mahmud gave already looking like a true rocker. The first guitar arrives at the age of seven, but it's only three years after he began playing with a certain commitment, dazzled on the Pop, taking some lessons from a music teacher. The first band set up with some classmates from Bon Jovi called "Starz", band that managed to keep only one concert, also because of a small detail: there was already an American Group much more popular than them who bore the same name. John changed the name to "Raze" but the experience, one way or the other, however, proved a failure. Later John she auditioned for the movie "FootLoose" and Paramount chose him for the role, changing the script from dancer to rock star. For John it was the first decisive choice and she refused, he didn't want to be known as an actor with suction from rockstar. Music was his world. Like so many others at his side (first the mother), begins to believe he even to dream of a stage everything to him and decides to change his name, to choose a pseudonym that would seem more "American" and that it was easier to pronounce by his fellow citizens. Hence, Jon Bon Jovi, to which he soon affect many record labels, also affected by the grit of the pieces that brought together with her band. In 1984, after having labeled the group permanently on his behalf, Bon Jovi (Richie Sambora, guitar; David Bryan; Alec John Such rhythm guitarist; Tico Tower, battery) emerged from the New Jersey urban proletarians, becoming known to the general public with songs like "Burnin' for love", "Get ready", "Breakout", "Runaway" followed a year later "In and out of love" from the album "7800° Fahrenheit". Harmony vocals, solos hard are the characteristics of this group which in 1986 with the release of the album "Slippery when wet" won one of the biggest sales successes of all time with twenty million copies sold. With this album the group style reached, according to the experts, the definitive maturity expressing a rabid pop metal sound with bluesy poetic ballads, inspired by Springsteen but rendered more romantic and electric. In a short time, so things are in show business, from simple Sicilian boy who quarreled with the father because of the long-haired Bon Jovi becomes a rock star, acclaimed by millions of adoring girls Idol, also not a secondary element that our, needless to say, has a remarkable "appeal". Then the gigantic business of Bon Jovi fan club is directly in the hands of mother Carol, one of the few people who encouraged him to pursue her way she felt within herself, now proud of the results obtained by the son and happily settled in the management of royalties that that success is continuously raining down on his head. The band's latest works are "Have a Nice Day" (2005), "Lost Highway" (2007), "The Circle" (2009).
