Biography of Kevin Costner

Kevin Michael Costner was born on January 18, 1955 in Lynwood (in Los Angeles County, California). In 1978 he married a fellow college, Cindy Silva: you will have three daughters. His debut at the cinema dates back to 1982, in "Chasing dreams", directed by Sean Roche and Therese Earl; in later years, the actor has the opportunity to participate, inter alia, to a spot of the Apple Lisa, and-at the movies-a "Testament" (by Lynne Littman), "Silverado" (of Lawrence Reynolds) and "the winner" (by John Badham). Actually it is called by Lawrence Kasdan for "the big chill", but her character (a suicide) is cut during installation. Starting from the second half of the eighties, Kevin Costner is called even by big Hollywood: happens in 1985, when Steven Spielberg wants to "amazing stories" (original title: "Amazing stories"); in 1987, when Act for Brian De Palma in "The untouchables"; and in 1990, when it is part of the cast of "Revenge, revenge", Tony Scott. In 1990 his first experience as a Director, which consecrates him worldwide: Kevin Costner, in fact, directs "dances with Wolves", which won the Academy Award for best picture and for Best Director.
In the 1990s becomes sophisticated and sexy icon actor: this is demonstrated, among other things, "Robin Hood: Prince of thieves" by Kevin Reynolds (for which, however, WINS one of four Golden Raspberry Awards that will receive his career) and "the bodyguard" by Mick Jackson (with Whitney Houston). After starring for Oliver Stone in "JFK-a case still open" in 1991, and to Clint Eastwood in "a perfect world" in 1993 (and separated from his wife Cindy in 1994), the American interpreter takes part in the expensive "Waterworld" (which he also produced), which-in spite of the reputation of flop that will acquire later-unable to repay all investments made. After a deep film like "Thirteen days", by Roger Donaldson, Kevin Costner in the 2000s, he devoted himself to comedy ("rumor", by Rob Reiner) without ignoring the thriller ("the sign of the Dragonfly-Dragonfly").
Back again with the western "borderland-Open Range", during which time he married his new girlfriend (younger than 19) Christine Baumgartner, which will give him two sons. Then he devoted himself to music (performing among other things at the Teatro Brancaccio of Rome, and publishing in 2010 album, "Turn it on", which in Germany enters even in the top 30 best selling records) and on television: happens in 2012, when he participates in the miniseries "Hatfields & McCoys." In Italy, Kevin Costner is voiced primarily by Michele Gammino (his voice in "rumor", "dances with Wolves", "Le parole che non ti ho detto", "the bodyguard") and Sergio di Stefano (who lends his voice in "the sign of the Dragonfly-Dragonfly" and "The untouchables"), but also-among others-by Sandro Unripe ("Robin Hood: Prince of thieves") and Mauro Gravina ("Testament").
