Vujadin Boskov was born in Begec, in Vojvodina, an autonomous province of the Republic of Serbia, the day May 16, 1931. Serbian footballer and Manager from 1946 to 1960 Play in team Vojvodina of Novi Sad. From 1962 to 1964 playing in Switzerland, then abandons the cleats to begin a coaching career. His first team is that of the Swiss themselves of "Young Boys". Later trains the FK Vojvodina then Yugoslavia. In the Netherlands trains the Den Haag and Feyenoord, Spain sits on the benches of Real Zaragoza, Real Madrid and Sporting Gijon. In Italy Ascoli, Sampdoria Guide, Roma, Napoli and Perugia. Between 1996 and 1997 train Servette Genève, Switzerland. The last team coached is the Serbian national team, from 1999 to 2001. Boskov has taught at the school for technicians and trainers in Coverciano, at the time was directed by Italo Allodi. In Italy the name above all the historic League Championship 1991 conquered with Sampdoria. As a coach he managed to reach the final of the European Cup twice, once with Real Madrid in 1981, and once with Sampdoria in 1992: on both occasions his teams lose by 1-0, at the hands of Liverpool and Barcelona before then. Still today he is remembered and often quoted for his simple, direct sentences that cut short on any kind of post-match controversy. Among them: "the game is over when referee blows", and "penalty when referee blows". In 2003 he released the book "word of Boskov", long interview that tells in real life and miracles of the wizard of Novi Sad: anecdotes, trivia and many truths listed sympathetically verbatim. He died after a long illness, on April 27, 2014 Begeč in his hometown, at the age of 82 years.
