Definition of affinity

It is known as affinity that proximity, analogy or likeness that an individual shares with another or others. For example, when two people share tastes, thoughts, ideologies and up to characters it is said that these two people are related, i.e., maintain a certain affinity to each other. Since the creation of man, it has been organizing themselves into clans, tribes and social groups, including and especially always did so looking for those pairs which share motivations, likes, among other issues and away from those with which does not share anything and is not even identified.
It will be by this intrinsic characteristic of the man who might be called capriciously as search of the affinity, that a certain person is enrolling in certain social groups and prefers to stay away from others who imposed or flaunt considerations quite contrary on which he grew up, and those that purchased product from the growth and experience.
But the affinity not only boils down to other people, but it may also be that we experience affinity for certain things or objects. For example, a person who has affinity with a particular color and decides then to paint your House or your space with this color, because that way he feels there identifies him and belongs to him even more.
Meanwhile, the affinity is an easily discoverable location in any social environment, because while in the case of a meeting, nearly everyone at some point interact with everyone without exception, it is also a reality that those who even without knowing too much, start, due to the talk, in various aspects, surely can see them next to the meeting chatting animatedly about what they share. And on the other hand, those who do not find points in common, it is inevitable to see them argue over their opposing positions.
This suggests that the affinity, in a strictly social level, is what mostly aspire humans in our relationships with others and even at times with a friend we not share or agree on all the ideas, there will always be something, an attitude, gestures, which make us to be allied with that person.
