Definition of demonstrative adjective

The adjective is without doubt one of the grammatical elements more notable and important to instances of a sentence or an expression, meanwhile, occupies that place of privilege along with other important elements such as the noun, adverb, verb, among others. The main mission of the adjective is to accompany the noun, to complete or to limit the meaning of the same. There is always an agreement between gender (masculine or feminine) and number (singular or plural) noun with the adjective that goes with it.
Now well, adjectives have a classification that defines them into different types, being that we are interested in this review the demonstrative adjectives.
In the specific case of the demonstration, its primary function is to point relationship of place or of time, realizing the closeness that you have with a person which you are talking or that is being talked about.
A way to recognize them and avoid mistakes in terms of its implementation is that they should always precede the noun affect: this House is that liked most of all that we saw today.
This, that, that and that and their respective variants in gender and number, are some of the adjectives most used demonstration.
However, there are degrees of distance in the form of the adjectives of this type, being the first distance degree: (East/these/this/these), second degree of distance: (that/those/that/those) and third degree of distance: (that/those/that/those).
When we want to indicate that something is close to who speaks the first degree of distance is used (this skirt is not which I chose); Meanwhile, when we want to indicate that something is near who listens is used the second degree of distance (this pouch cost lots of money); and the third degree of distance is used mostly when you want to indicate that something is far, both of whom speaks as listener (that time passed without a doubt was better).
