Definition of Gitano

Through the Gypsy word refers to any individual hails from a nomadic people originating from Egypt or the India which has retained its own or related physical and cultural features.
Also referred to as Roma and Gypsies, the Gypsies is a community with cultural common features but with huge differences between subgroups. While settlers are found mainly in Europe, being the largest ethnic minority in the European Union, they are also very much present in the rest of the world.
International Gypsy day is celebrated every year on April 8 in commemoration of the 8 of April of the year 1971, day on which, in the city of London, instituted its flag and anthem.

In Chile, Spain, Argentina, Mexico, there are important communities of Gypsies, which continue to maintain their customs, clothing, among other aspects, and therefore often suffer, as centuries ago, when they were admitted to Spain, from discrimination by the rest of the community who observe them as different precisely because of these qualities that stand out.
And on the other hand, the Gypsy Word is used with recurrence in everyday language to refer to that fawning individual, who has a major grace to capture the will of the majority of people with which it interacts.
