August 15, 1937Italy's most famous orchestra leader, deus ex machina of the group who did dance, meet and fall in love with generations of Italians, Raoul Casadei was born on August 15, 1937. The Orchestra was founded in 1928 by Casadei Secondo Casadei, uncle of Raoul, beloved author of more than a thousand songs of Romagna, and became popular music from the beginning one of the most watched dance bands of the Adriatic coast. In 1970 Raoul, who from an early age was collaborating with his uncle, took completely over the Orchestra, ningand regeneration of musical reference coordinates and renewing.
The kind proposed, the "smooth", has its roots in the waltz, the mazurka and polka, without however ignoring the contaminations and modern musical expressions. In 1974 he participated in the Festival di Sanremo with the song "sing", but of course everyone Associates his name immortal melodies like "Hello sea" and especially "Romagna mia"-written by Uncle second in 1954 (Edizioni Musicali CASADEI SONORA)-one of those pieces that are capable, in spite of geography whose title is limited to become a kind of second national anthem. In 1980 Raoul Casadei hung on a nail guitar, deciding not to participate more at live shows in order to devote entirely to organizational and artistic part. The Orchestra has continued to have success throughout Italy, pursuing a musical project of recovery of tradition, alongside the usual and indispensable stylistic innovation and instrumental. Few people know that Cao and his orchestra have numerous collaborations with other artists, from Tito Puente to Gloria Gaynor, by Elio e le Storie Tese to Pitura Freska. In 2000 Michael, the eldest son of Raoul, entered firmly at the helm of the Orchestra, renewed in organic and currently consists of ten musicians. In more than 75 years of artistic career, the Orchestra, Casadei has published over 35 albums, with millions of copies sold across Europe. Raoul Casadei will be one of the stars of the next edition of the reality show l'isola dei Famosi ".
