What is the Meaning & Definition of computer

A computer, also known as computer, is an electronic machine that receives and processes data with the Mission of transforming them into useful information. It is composed of a series of integrated circuits and other many related items are those that allow the execution of a variety of sequences or routines of instructions that will indicate the user of the same.
The sequences will be systematized previously based on a wide range of practical applications through a process that is known as programming.
Then, to be able to use the computer will be necessary and condition without equanom that is scheduled and has computer programs or software that will bring you those specific data in order to process the data. When a computer gets the information you were looking for, it is can continue to use internally or otherwise be transferred to another computer or electronic component.
While the technology has evolved to leaps and bounds since the first computers appeared in the Decade of the forties of the last century, especially in the last few years where the evolutionary process was devastating, most computers are still respecting architecture known as Eckert-Mauchly posted by John Von Neumann and that it was created by electronics engineers John Presper Eckert and John William Mauchly.
The aforementioned architecture consists of four main sections of a computer: the logical drive and arithmetic (ALU), the control unit, the memory (a sequence of cells in storage with numbers in which each is a unit of information called bit) and input and output devices. And are all these sections are interconnected by cables that are called buses.
Peripherals and most common auxiliary devices that the user of a computer will use include: monitor, keyboard, mouse, printer, scanner, hard drive and speakers. Each with a specific function.
