What is the Meaning & Definition of governance

Governance is a term which in recent years has become popular in our language and that is used especially in the political field to account for the ease that presents a group or community to be directed, i.e., the existence of the condition of governance is allowing a political administration to finalize its plans and policies of Government because there is society's acceptance of its legitimacy and recognition of his authority. When in a given nation the people see that institutions are also effective and legitimate and Moreover there is an executive branch that respects the independence and autonomy of the same and is committed to the social order and get through its task of Government the common good, then, the people will be obedient and will reign governance.
It should be noted that when such a condition is not there or is actually very weak, will be to the Government in question very difficult to govern as there is not one hundred percent of acceptance toward his administration and his Government will therefore run certain risks of continuity.
Now, when governance is a fact is it because a number of factors are present and giving space to make government action effective and satisfactory. These include, on the one hand, the existence of stability at the level of the institutions that make up the State that will allow the Government to make decisions and implement them and on the other hand also will affect greatly the strength of society and the current economic situation.
The economic issue is significant because there have been many cases in the world of democratic countries which were affected its governance when economic conditions worsened. A recent example is that of Argentina, when in 2001, during the Government of De la Rua deFernando, several factors, including the resignation of the Vice President in a framework of a complex economic situation and allegations of bribes in the legislature ended up triggering problems of governance for the mentioned Government and an absolute institutional crisis which ended with the resignation of the President mentioned.
