The concept of human relations is perhaps one of the oldest in history since it has to do with the possibility of the human relate in very different ways with other fellow beings. Unlike what happens with animals, human relations are not only caused by biological needs or instinctive issues if that in many ways have not evolved very deeply to become even something new and different, much more complex, as it is the case for example with occupational or interpersonal relations.
To speak of human relations we must start from the concept of community or society. These spaces are those in which the man establishes links and relations with other fellow beings from specific needs that can range from the need to form a family need to be governed. Thus, life in society is composed of a complex system of relationships that are born by need or instinct but that will develop in very different ways. This is visible for example in the various forms of Government, family relationships or social hierarchy that different communities may have.
Life in society can represent a great diversity of relations depending on how they are armen. The social hierarchy is clearly one of the most determining factors in establishing them, for example by pointing out what social groups they will have more power over others or they may decide about the life of others with ease.
