What is the Meaning & Definition of plate

The floor plate is a word that has numerous utilities in the common language of the people. Although in the majority of cases it represents the same kind of element, which does not vary too much, the uses of the word 'plate' can be many and varied. We can describe to the plate as a rather flat surface or without too much surface that can be used in different situations or that there is some space with specific objectives. When we speak of plate, one of the most common uses is the commemorative plate placed in specific places to honor a person, a situation or celebrate certain events. These plates tend to be small to medium-sized, never very large, and can be made from materials such as metal or wood mode such that are durable and not easily destroyed (because they are generally placed outdoors). Another use of the word plate is when we refer to the plates base, a piece of electronic hardware on which are placed the circuits and computer codes that will have as objective the due performance of a computer. These boards base or motherboards tend to be small and its size is, paradoxically, inversely proportional to its importance since without them the computer cannot function as such. Then, there are also the tectonic plates. These are the famous sections of stone that are below the Earth's surface and covering the interior of the planet Earth, acting as a sort of coat over it. Tectonic plates (huge and powerful geological masses) are responsible, based on its movements and displacements, earthquakes and earthquakes occurring in some regions of the planet, especially in those where the two plates meet and which become visible externally by the presence of mountain ranges.
