What is the Meaning & Definition of Soprano
The name of soprano is that normally used to refer to a type of female vocal register, considered the sharpest of all known records and which can reach higher or sharper notes. It is mainly for this wonderful feature that in the chorus and opera singers sopranos are that most stand out, even more than their male counterparts.
Etymologically speaking, the name of soprano estimated that it comes from the Italian language in which the word means "superior". Since the opera and lyric representations of this type have always been popular and specially developed in Italy, much of the terminology has terms in Italian.
In the case of the soprano, we are talking about two possible options: women who reach the highest vocal register of all known or children (both female and male) that still have not reached the age of puberty and that have not undergone alteration in the voice that men suffer from reaching this stage of life.
In specific terms, the register or tessitura having a soprano is estimated from the do4 until the do6 of notes that are located in a piano (do note the number that accompanies a numerical location of such notes are on the keyboard). However, while this frame of mind is the most widely accepted, there may be theoretical as also practices such as variations when different notes are adapted to the capabilities of a particular soprano.
