What is the Meaning & Definition of respiratory system

The concept of respiratory system is one that is normally used to refer to the organic system by means of which different animals breathe, exchanging oxygen and dioxide of carbon with the environment and can then survive in the given space. In the case of the human being, the principal and most important respiratory organs are the lungs found in the inside of the rib cage and that are responsible for the exchange of gases, purifying ones and discarding that are not appropriate to keep. In addition, the respiratory system has a complex system of tubes and bronchi which are found throughout the body.
The two routes by which humans can breathe are, first, second, and respiratory system the pores of the skin. If a person is a large part of your infected skin, it will suffer more likely that your breathing is complicated. However, the highest percentage of gas exchange that we naturally occurs through the connections that exist in the respiratory system. These connections begin in the nostrils located on the nose that allow the entry and exit of air. Then follows the pharynx, Epiglottis and larynx: while the pharynx and the larynx are two muscular ducts that guide air inward, the epiglottis is what prevents the air deviates in the body. The trachea, for its part, is a more internal section of the system which is located at the base of the neck and after the vocal cords.
Almost immediately after the trachea are the bronchi and lungs which occupy almost the entire chest and which are the space where the air received from outside to be used properly by the body is purified. At the base of the lungs we find to the diaphragm, a muscle that stretches and contracts favoring breath and separating the respiratory system of the digestive system.
