What is the Meaning & Definition of globalization

Referred to as globalization, the process, cultural, economic, and information, which took place towards the end of the last century and the beginning of this one, in which the important advances that occurred in the field of science and technology and applied mainly to the media of mass communication and transport, made the borders between countries become less obvious and closer relations among the inhabitants of these. The media to provide information almost instantly about what is happening in every place on the planet, even in those most remote, have opened the door so that we know the most essential needs that prevail today in any place, that is that today in the world do not circulate anything more than products, but the capitals art, culture and services, also travel from one end to another of the planet Earth. And media that have unveiled what are the main needs of the world the lowering of costs of transportation joined him, then, today it is easier to move anything, despite and although distances remain the same.
A consequence and a very graphic example of the benefits of globalization, are multinational corporations which opened and expanded their markets, leading to an increase in their profits, but also the mobilization of economic, technological and human resources. Also the impressive and magnificent development of the internet meant that they end by bring down boundaries, barriers and obstacles that exist for communication between two people who are more than 14,000 km away, because today if the telephone line collapsed or traditional mail stop, there is the email that allows us to communicate with a friend in just seconds.
But not everything that glitters is gold and globalization also notes some phenomena that complicated, complicate and further complicate the lives of the people and the development of the countries per se, because to an important extent the local, national lost some strength and presence in the international.
